Gordon Scott Ross

Gordon Scott Ross, 61, died on July 30th, at his residence.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, August 7, 2026 at Florence National Cemetery.

Gordon was born in St. Paul, MN, on December 13th, 1964, to the late Scott Ross and Johnny Griggs Kelly. He served his country in the Navy from 1983 to 1989. Gordon loved watching tv, especially racing, listening to gospel music, and going to concerts. He was especially good at fixing up cars, and he and his wife, Lynette, enjoyed sitting together with hospice patients.

Gordon is survived by his wife of 25 years; Lynnette Suzanne Ross, brothers; Chris Ross and William Ross, step-son; Sean Michael Morris, nephews; Tyler Ross and Matthew Ross, niece; Samantha Ross, aunts; Helen Griggs, Lois Vaughn, and Betty Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross Scott and Johnny Griggs Kelly (Richard).
