Glen W. Burdick

Glen William Burdick ,age 53, passed away at his home on Monday, January 31, 2022. Friends are invited to visit and share stories and memories at a visitation Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Belk Funeral Home.

Born in Danbury, CT on June 6, 1968, he is the son of the late Paul Daniel Burdick, Jr. and the late Virginia Lee Wheeler Dachenhausen. Glen had worked for his close friend, Curtis Boyd, and Fitness world for more than ten years.  He enjoyed being on the river and cherished the times spent hanging out on the water with his friends. Glen loved the Mechanicsville community and will be missed by everyone. He was a member od Mechanicsville Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children, Melissa (Brandon) Kover of Montana, Michael Burdick of Texas, William "Mikey" Burdick of Darlington; grandchildren, Julian, James, Carter, Matthew and Finnegan; his siblings, Paula Fiske, Karen (Kirk) Schneider and Kim (Mimi) Lopez-Wayner, and his step-father, Kevin Dachenhausen. Also surviving are many extended family members,  including two special nieces, Heather Adams and Hailey Byrnes, his longtime friend and work partner, Chuck Taylor, a step-daughter, Kamran Young,  and  his faithful canine friend, Bae.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made to Belk Funeral  Home, PO Box 523, Darlington SC 29540, to help with funeral expenses.
