Rodney Kinsaul

Gerald Rodney Kinsaul, 73, passed away on September 20, 2026. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Belk Funeral Home.

Rodney was born in Darlington on September 8, 1953, to the late Giles and Dorothy Suggs Kinsaul. A hardworking man with a talent for working with his hands, Rodney spent his career as a skilled fabricator in the steel industry. He took pride in his work and in the many years he spent perfecting his craft.

A true outdoorsman, Rodney loved nothing more than spending time in the woods, especially during deer season. He also had a passion for shooting sports and was a proud Masterclass Shooter. Whether he was hunting, shooting, or simply enjoying the outdoors, Rodney appreciated the simple things in life and the good times shared with those around him. More than anything, Rodney loved his family.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years; Brenda Kinsaul, son; Allen (DeDe) Kinsaul, brother; Freddie (Brenda) Kinsaul, nieces; Mia (Todd) Appleyard, Lindi (Ryan) Watkins, and his loving cat; Scooter.

Rodney was preceded by his late parents; Giles and Dorothy Suggs Kinsaul, brother and sister in law; Larry and Linda Kinsaul.
