George Albert Duncan, of Darlington, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025, just days before his 63rd birthday.
Born in Man, West Virginia, on May 27, 1962, George was the beloved son of the late John Duncan and Julia Adams Duncan. A proud United States Marine, George served his country with honor and discipline—values that carried through every aspect of his life. Following his military service, he pursued a career as an electrician, where his skill and dedication left a lasting mark.
George had a quiet strength, a quick wit, and a passion for gaming that connected him with friends and family across distances and generations. He found joy in the little things and valued time spent with loved ones.
He is survived by his son, Cody Damon of West Virginia; his four sisters, Judy (Ken) Frye of West Virginia, Terri (Danny) of Jenkins, North Carolina, Theresa Hudson of West Virginia, and Tammy (Robert) Humphries of Darlington, South Carolina; and his brother, Charles Duncan of West Virginia. Grandchildren: Charlie Damon, Francy Damon, and Andrew Damon, along with many nieces and nephews: Dee Dee & Mike Spolarich, Terry & Tanya Brumfield, Sabrina & Mike Adams, Chad & Tabitha Brumfield, Melissa & Richard Barnhard, Sherry & Lando Johnson, Adam & Sandy Humphries, Kendra & Mike Vance. Preceding him in death are his parents, and James Frye and Kenny Frye. George was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by his family and all who knew him.
