Genlon Floyd Hanna

Genlon Floyd Hanna, age 83, passed away on Friday December 30, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, January 8 in Olanta Pentecostal Holiness Church 1011 Central Road, Olanta, SC, Officiated by Rev. Allen Lynch.

Genlon was born in Clarendon County on December 20, 1939. She is the daughter of the late Joe Floyd and Louise Haddock Floyd Potter. She worked at Lazy Boy for 35 years and was a sewing machine operator. Genlon had a huge heart and was full of life.

Genlon is survived by her daughter, Kelly Lynn (Patrick) Herndon.

In addition to her parents, Genlon is preceded in death by sisters; Bessie Lee Stidham, Mary Francis Yonas, and Virginia Floyd, brothers: Joe Archie Floyd, Jimmie Nell Floyd, Charlie Floyd, McIver Floyd, and Calvin Floyd.
