Gary Wayne Gainey

Darlington - Gary Wayne Gainey, Jr., age 28, of Dovesville, SC, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at his residence due to medical conditions. A memorial service will be held 5:00pm Friday, December 18th at Flat Creek Pentecostal Church, directed by Belk Funeral Home. Born October 11, 1987, Gary is the son of the late Gary Wayne Gainey, Sr., and the late Sandra D. Pye Gainey. He worked as a mechanic, and attended Flat Creek Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed his family and playing with his nephews. Surviving are his sister, Dacia Gainey of Darlington; two very special nephews that was his world, J. Greshan Cameron and Gary Ryan Cameron; two very special cousins, Jonathan Wilson and Sheila Ham, and his girlfriend, Gretchen Carraway. Preceded in death in addition to his parents are his nephew, Dustin Wayne Cameron; his grandfather, Monroe Gainey, and two grandmothers, Kathleen Gainey and Eunice Boseman Beasley. The family will receive friends at the home of Buck and Donna Register, 845 Register Dr. Darlington, SC 29540.
