Frank Patterson Edwards, Jr.

Frank Patterson Edwards, Jr., age 76, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at 3:00pm in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home, the family will receive friends following the service.

Frank Pat was born in Darlington County on January 24, 1946. He is the son of the late Frank P. "Trunkie" Edwards, Sr and Aleta Cooke Edwards. Frank Pat graduated from St. John's in 1964 and Florence-Darlington Tech in 1972. He was also the owner of Edward's Nursery and loved fishing, spending time with his friends, and was an avid NASCAR fan. He attended Darlington Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Margaret Harris Edwards, son, Frank Patterson (Melissa) Edwards III, daughter, Susan (Michael) Quarles, grandchildren, Alexis Edwards and Brittany Welch, great-grandchildren; Avery Edwards, Deliah Edwards, Aria Edwards, and his much loved caregiver, Shirley Ellerbe.
