Faye Calcutt Langley

Garland Faye Calcutt Langley, age 69, died Saturday, July 20th, 2019. Her funeral service will be held at 11:30 Tuesday, July 23 in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home, with burial following in Florence National Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:30 Tuesday morning at the funeral home.

Born in Florence, she was the daughter of the late Wint and Louise Ward Calcutt. Faye worked for Florence County School District One for many years until her retirement. Mrs. Langley loved life and enjoyed being around people. She loved her grandchildren very much, and always enjoyed spending time with them while travelling or on vacation. Faye also liked to go fishing and sitting around watching movies with friends and family. She was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jerry Langley, a son, Spence (Tracy) Langley of Florence, grandchildren: Camryn, Carrington and Conor Langley, her sister, Dianne (Jerald) Bryant of Florence, brothers: Jerry Calcutt of Darlington, Doug (Liz) Calcutt of Lake Wateree, special family members and caregivers, Marilyn Truett, Carolyn Langley and Sara Davis. Also surviving are Sophie and Stormy, her beloved pets.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jason Langley and a brother, Wimpy Calcutt.
