Eva Parnell Watts

Eva Parnell Watts, age 57, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13th at 3:00 PM in the Lamar chapel at Belk Funeral Home, with burial following in Lamar Memorial Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home. Born July 29, 1959, Eva is the daughter of the late Newton Parnell and Dora Watford Parnell. She was a fan of the Atlanta Braves, and was a member of Newman Swamp Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Miranda (Lewis Logan) Knotts of Lamar; her son, Jason (Brandy Kelley) Knotts of Darlington; her step-daughters, Loretta Lynch of Lamar and Diana Watts of Timmonsville; her grandchildren, Margaret, Marisa, Eddie, Savannah, and Nick; her brother, Randy (Karen) Parnell; her sisters, Kathy Hopkins, and Emmie Parnell, all of Lamar. She was preceded in death by her first husband, G.B. Knotts, and her second husband, James Watts.
