Eva Mae Asaro

Eva Mae W. Asaro, age 66 died Wednesday, March 09, 2022. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 11th at Midway Baptist Church with burial following at the church cemetery, directed by Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Friday at the church.

Born on July 30, 1955, Eva was the daughter of the late Charles E. Weatherford, Sr. and Betty Edwards Weatherford. She worked at the E-911 Addressing Department for Darlington County. She loved people and will be remembered for her contagious smile. Eva loved her church and loved gospel singing. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

Surviving are her son, Ricky (Buffy) Asaro; a granddaughter who was her "heartstring", Dani-Jo Asaro; sister, Linda Weatherford; special church friends, Frances Moore and Robin Moore; and "church baby", Kingsley Moore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Weatherford, Jr.; and a sister, Debbie Weatherford.
