Elizabeth Teal Howle

Elizabeth "Lib" Teal Howle, age 93, passed away Saturday, March 02, 2019. A graveside service will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 4th at Grove Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday at Belk Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Susie and Jimmy White, 109 Beth Dr. Darlington. Born March 5, 1925, Lib was the daughter of the late Peter L. Teal and the late Laura Teal. She worked in the business office at Florence-Darlington Tech. Lib was a member of Darlington First Baptist Church since she was a little girl, and was active in church activities including teaching the Kindergarten Sunday school class for many years. Surviving are her children: Mike (Gwenda) Howle of N. Myrtle Beach, Pat (Janet) Howle of Conway, Tim (Rhoda) Howle of Hope Mills, NC, and Susie (Jimmy) White of Darlington; grandchildren: Patrick (Brooke) Howle, Steven (Laura) Howle, Shannon (Jeff) Piercy, Hayley (David) Brisacher, Josh (Laura) Howle, Jenel (Trace) Martin, Sydney (Brett) Baker, Liza (Nick) Jeffries, Ryan White, Mary (Kirby) Hinson, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellie Wade Howle; sister, Betty Jean Teal; and brother, P.L. Teal, Jr. Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice: 1516 W.
