It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth "Diane" Evans, beloved mother, sister, and friend, who entered into eternal rest on August 15, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on November 20, 1949, in Sumter, South Carolina, Diane lived a life filled with warmth and kindness, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.  She loved to cook, dance, and listen to music. Diane devoted herself to her family as a homemaker, creating a nurturing and loving environment for her son, Michael "Mike" Evans. She was a cherished sister to Wayne Evans and Betty Jean McLeod, who, along with her son, will carry forward her legacy of compassion and love.

Diane was preceded in death by: Julius Evans, Elise Evans, Julius "Rusty" Evans, Jr., Brenda Knotts. A graveside service will be held in Brewington Presbyterian Church Cemetery on August 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and share stories of Diane's beautiful spirit and the joy she brought into their lives. Diane will be laid to rest at Brewington Presbyterian Church Cemetery, located at 2034 N. Brewington Road, Manning, SC 29102. Her love and light will forever live in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. In this time of sorrow, we find comfort in the memories of Diane and we invite everyone to join us in honoring her remarkable life.
