Doti (Michell) Mcknight

Dorothy "Doti" Louise Michell McKnight, age 71, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at her residence. Friends are invited to visit with the family and share memories and express condolences between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 Saturday, July 23, Belk Funeral Home.

Doti was born in Spring Hill, West Virginia on November 19, 1950, she was the daughter of the late William Calvert Michell and the late Ruth Lott Needham. Doti was an IT system analyst for 34 years and worked for ESAB. She enjoyed gardening, shagging, beach music, going to the beach, enjoying a cold beverage and watching old black and white movies.

She is survived by her daughter, Misi King (Vinnie) Monterosso, son, Ryan (Melissa) McKnight, grandchildren, Jace Cox and Jonah Cox, siblings: Gary (Lisa) Michell of FL, Janie (Sam) McClung of TN, Tammy Needham of Darlington, Dianna (Mike) Tanner of Florence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Oliver S.Needham and her husband Walter McKnight
