Dorothy Galloway Lewis, age 87 died Thursday, February 17, 2022. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 20th in the Lamar Chapel at Belk Funeral Home with burial following at Lamar Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home in Lamar.

Born on July 7, 1934, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Judge Galloway and Rita Hudson Galloway. She enjoyed cooking, tending to her flowers, and loved being with her family.

Surviving are her daughter, Doris Jean (Jerry) Hudson; son, Lewis Allen (Lynn) Brunson, both of Lamar; grandchildren, Robert (Cyndi) Knotts of Hartsville, Douglas (Rebecca) Andrews of Darlington, and Brooke Hudson of Lamar; brother, Russell (Anna) Galloway of Lamar.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Myers E. Lewis; and a sister, Betty Galloway.
