Donnie Crighton Flowers

Donnie Crighton Flowers, 63, of Darlington, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 23, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. A visitation will be held for him on Sunday, May 25th at Belk Funeral Home at Darlington from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral Services will take place on the following day on Monday, May 26th in the Belk Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm. With internment immediately following at Roland Flowers Cemetery in Hartsville, SC.

Born February 7th, 1962, in Darlington County, Donnie was the son of the late Creighton "Pim" Flowers and Nellie Flowers. He spent many years working in maintenance at the Galey & Lord Plant in Society Hill, where he was known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and easy-going nature.

Donnie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He found his greatest joy in the company of his grandchildren and friends, never passed up an opportunity to take a long drive-something he deeply enjoyed. Whether behind the wheel or gathered around the table with family, Donnie's quiet strength and warm presence left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy O'Neal Flowers of Darlington; his children Josh (Morgan) Flowers of Florence, Stephanie Flowers of Darlington, Susan (Jay) Holladay of Florence, and Jenny Harrell of Darlington; and his beloved grandchildren, Madelyn Holladay, John Holladay, Ella Grace Flowers, and Levi Flowers. He is also survived by his sister Melissa Blackwell of Hartsville.  Daisey and Boo Boo his fur babies will miss him greatly. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Debbie Goins, and his grandson Ethan Harrell.

He will always be remembered and missed beyond measure.
