Donna Gretchen Carraway

Donna Gretchen Carraway, age 54, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 10th in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home Lamar at 5:00pm, the family will be accepting friends following the service.

Donna was born in Darlington on January 21, 1970, she is the daughter of Norma Jean Hudson and the late Don Dampier, Sr. She was very proud of her children and loved her grandchildren very much.

In addition to her mother, Donna is survived by her children, Brandon (Macey) Carraway, Jessica (Brian) Dunlap, and her grandchildren, Brandon Dunlap, Marlie Carraway, and Ryder Carraway. She is also survived by her siblings, Don Dampier, Jr., Racheal Dampier, and a special cousin, Bill Dampier.

The Angel on my shoulder is a symbol of my heart. Watching from heaven of which I am a part. My Angel knows me very well, sees all I do and say and when I wish for others My Angel gives me blessings, and helps my soul grow, My Angels always with me, Wherever I may go
