Deborah Thompson Hanna

Deborah “Debbie” Thompson Hanna passed away on Saturday, January 10th, 2026. She will have a graveside service on Saturday, January 17th, 2026 at 2:00pm in Grove Hill Cemetery.

Debbie was born January 11th, 1952 in Florence, South Carolina to Billy Thompson and Edna Brewer Thompson. She is a graduate of the class of 1970 at St. John’s High School of Darlington. She was a telephone operator for many years. Debbie was a special needs advocate of children for 53 years.

She leaves behind her husband Barry Glenn Hanna, son Billy Allen Hanna, her father Billy Thompson, and brother David Thompson.

Preceding her in death is her mother Edna Brewer Thompson.

She will be dearly missed by those that knew her.
