David G. McCoy, age 78 died Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Born on June 22, 1943, He was the son of Dorothy Mae Evans Kelly and the late Josephus McCoy. David was employed with Nucor Steel until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, hanging out with his friends having fish fries and he enjoyed taking care of his property.

Surviving are his children, David (Susan) McCoy, Tommy Knotts of Pamplico, and Tracy (Larry) Turner of Goose Creek; six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sister, Margie McCoy; half-brother, J.R. Kelly and half-sister, Ernestine Kelly.
