David "Rock" L. Rollings

Our beloved David "Rock" L. Rollings has gone home to be with the Lord. He was a devoted husband, brother, uncle, and grandpa to many, and he never knew a stranger. David was born on July 8, 1962, and peacefully passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 63.

Rock dedicated his working life as a skilled machinist, where he was well-respected for his expertise in welding. He had a passion for many hobbies, including cooking, shooting, and sports, but he cherished spending time fishing and, most importantly, sharing good company with friends and family.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 36 years, Sherry Rollings, as well as his devoted children: son Tim (Jayme) Windham and daughter Sabrina (Wayne) Singletary and by his brother James Rollings, his sisters Carolyn Kistler and Jean Galloway. David was a proud grandfather to Samantha(David), Heather(Daniel), Victoria, Arabella, Nick, Nate, and Keaton(Elizabeth), and a loving great-grandfather to Noah Bryant, Aiden Rowe, and J.T. Windham.

Funeral services will be held at Newman Swamp United Methodist Church on Sunday, November 2,  2025, at 2:00 PM. Prior to the service, there will be a visitation at the church starting at 1:00 PM. All who knew Rock are invited to join the family in celebrating his life and the joy he brought to those around him. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of many. Burial will follow in Windhamtown Cemetery

Rock was preceded in death by parents Joseph and Dorothy Rollings, brother, Sam Rollings, niece, Tracy Willis,, In-Laws: Mr and Mrs. Baites Windham, Susan Jeffords, Barbara Rollings and grandchildren, Taylor and Clayton Windham.
