David S Kemmerlin

David "Bubba" Shelly Kemmerlin, age 66, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Dovesville Church of God, with burial following in the church cemetery, the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 on Monday evening at Belk Funeral Home.

Born in Florence, David was the son of the late Laurie David Kemmerlin and the late Mary Frances Weatherford McQueen. He worked for NUCOR, then Coburg Dairy and retired as a salesman for HD Supply. David was known for his wonderful cooking and he always enjoyed cooking for church events.  He was often seen working in his yard, and when he wasn't, he could be found watching sports. Mr. Kemmerlin was a member Dovesville Church of God.

Surviving is his wife, Mary Byrd Kemmerlin, a daughter, Angel Kemmerlin both of Darlington, a son, Austin (Lauren Cole) Kemmerlin of Boiling Springs, a granddaughter, Kyla Riggins and brothers, Tony, Bobby and Timmy Kemmerlin.

In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his step-father Chester McQueen and brother, Ray Kemmerlin.
