David Parnell, Jr.

Thomas David Parnell, age 57 passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church with a graveside service following at the church cemetery, directed by Belk Funeral Home.

Born on March 7, 1964, David was the son of the late Thomas David Parnell, Sr. and Uldine Turner Parnell. He was employed with Jimmies Tree Service for several years, and was a member of Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church. He enjoyed sitting on his porch watching his grandchildren play and reminiscing about the past.

Surviving are his children, Ashley Parnell of Darlington, Brooke (Sean) Odom of Florence, Tamra (Cody) Parker of Boiling Springs; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Tyler Gaymon.
