David Marvin Arnold

David Marvin Arnold, age 75 died Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Born on December 25, 1945, David was the son of the late Mose Arnold and Mary Smith Arnold. He served four years in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked in truck sales and then as an over-the-road truck driver. David was known as a "free spirit" who enjoyed driving trucks and was talented in many areas including writing poetry and short stories.

Surviving are his daughters, Lucy Steele (Kevin) of Indian Trail, NC and Lacy (Richard) Manship of Charlotte, NC; his partner of several years, Vicky Percious of Darlington; four grandchildren, Simon, Luke, Owen and Roxy; brothers, Mike (Susan) Arnold of Darlington and Dick Arnold of Atlanta, GA; and his girlfriend's son and friend, Paul Percious.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dan Henry Arnold.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
