Danny Bishop Patrick

Danny Bishop Patrick, age 60, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025 at McLeod Hospice House surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held in Belk Funeral Home on Thursday, January 30th at 3:00pm, the family will be receiving friends following the service.

Danny was born on May 7, 1964, in Florence County to the late Dexter Mobley Patrick and the late Shirley Chandler Patrick. In 1968, Dexter married Peggy Watford and Danny got his bonus mother who raised him. He had a deep passion for cars and spent his life working as a mechanic, always finding joy in his work. In his free time, Danny enjoyed watching racing and spending time building Lego creations with his daughter, Crystal.

In addition to his bonus mother, "Peggy", Danny is survived by his wife, Tammy Thompson Patrick; his daughter, Crystal Patrick; and his sister, Cindy Hill (Hardy) Abernathy, and half-brother, Stephen Rice. He is also survived by his niece, Jill Wiggins (McCary) Johnstone; his great-niece, Little Lilly Johnstone; and numerous cousins.

Danny was preceded in death by his son, Chance Cameron, brother, Dale Patrick and half-brother, Clayton Turner.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at McLeod Hospice House and to Dr. Don Behling and Dr. Ed Behling for their compassionate care during Danny's final days.
