Daniel Tilman Boone

Daniel Tilman Boone of Florence passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the age of 65. A Celebration Of Life will be held for him in The Belk Funeral Home Chapel in Darlington on Monday, December 2nd at 3pm.

Tilman was born in Darlington to the late Vernon L. and Macy Tyner Boone on November 19, 1959. He worked as a Dump Truck driver for the City of Darlington for many years and was always on the road. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was squirrel hunting in his younger years or going fishing when his health allowed him. One of Tilman's favorite past times was going to the flea market, he loved to bargain with everyone out there to try and get the best deal. Above all things he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren every chance he got.

Surviving Tilman are his two children, Amanda Boone and Justin (Julia) Boone, seven grandchildren, Colton, Luke, Grace, Evan, Jasmine, Kinsley and Alexander. He is also survived by his siblings, Mary Gainey, Janie Huntley, Lisa Gleason, Debbie Odom, Robbie Boone and Gene Boone.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Boone and his sisters, Sylvia Gleach and Judy Boone.
