Darlington - Daisy Anderson Byrd, age 85, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 21st in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home, with burial following in Grove Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Born December 6, 1932, Daisy is the daughter of the late Wiley W. Anderson and Alpha O'Neal. She retired from Galey & Lord formally Klopman Industries. Daisy was a faithful member of Whispering Pines Baptist Church in Hartsville and loved to sing in the church choir. Surviving are her daughter, Janice (Lyndal) Pridgen of Hartsville; seven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and her sister, Shelvy (Winfred) Davis of Darlington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murray Byrd; her son, Devin Wayne Marsh; her daughter, Elaine Stone; her brothers, William Anderson and Aaron Anderson.
