Dacia Chanda (Gainey) Cameron

Dacia Chanda Gainey Cameron, age 43 died Saturday, April 9, 2022. A funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 11th in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home of Donna and Buck Register, 845 Register Dr. Darlington, SC 29540.

Born on March 14, 1979, Dacia was the daughter of the late Garry Wayne Gainey and Sandra Pye Gainey. She worked at the Waffle House in Florence, and enjoyed painting. Some of her favorite things were spending with family, peanut butter and milk shakes.

Surviving are her two sons, Jimmy Greshan Cameron and Gary Ryan Cameron; special aunt and uncle, Donna and Buck Register; a special cousin who was like a sister, Sheila Ham; nephew, Monroe Ham; special friend, Chris Atkinson; numerous cousins and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy "Jimbo" Fate Cameron; infant son, Dustin Wayne Cameron; brother, Gary Wayne Gainey; grandparents, Monroe and Kathleen Gainey, Eunice and George Pye.
