Cornelia Ann Smith

Cornelia Ann Smith, age 63, died Monday, December 21, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, December 23 at Belk Funeral Home Lamar Chapel, with burial following in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Born January 14, 1952 in Darlington County, she is the daughter of Harry Dell Marshall McNinch and the late Russell McNinch. Cornelia worked in retail for Roses and later went to work in the cafeteria at Pate Elementary School. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed the Mountains. She was a member of Lake View Baptist Church in Hartsville. Surviving, in addition to her mother of Hartsville, is her husband of 45 years : Joe Allen Smith, her children: Angela (Kenny) Campbell, Ray (Christie) Smith, all of Lamar; grandchildren: Cody (Nichole) Smith, Courtney Freeman, Zachary Smith, Katelyne Smith, Hunter Campbell; great grandchildren: Roxi Smith, Jazmyne Smith; a sister, Teresa (Charles) Cassidy and a brother, Steve (Bonnie)Marshall of Hartsville. She was preceded in death by her father, Russell McNinch and a brother, Howard McNinch. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Tuesday in the Chapel of Belk Funeral Home in Lamar.
