Corey Michael Stephens

Corey Michael Stephens, age 30, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 19th at 11:00am in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home. A burial will follow the service in Latter Day Saints Cemetery in Society Hill.

Corey was born in Florence on August 6, 1992, to David Michael Stephens and Anne Rochelle Smith Dunn. Corey had a very creative mind which led him to being fascinated with writing and screenplays. He also attended film school in Greenville.

Corey is survived by his father, David Michael Stephens, mother, Anne Rochelle Smith Dunn and her husband, Joseph "Joe" Edward Dunn. He is also survived by his sister, Brittany Moore, his maternal grandmother, Pauline Colpan-Smith and two nieces.

He is preceded in death by his family members: Ralph Edward Stephens, Dorothy Moody, Thomas "Tommy" Edward Stephens, William "Dan" Smith, and Paul Harry Smith.
