Samuel Christopher "Chris" Morris, 51, passed away on Friday January 26, 2024. The family will receive friends at Belk Funeral Home in Lamar from 2:00 until 3:00 on Monday, January 29th. A graveside service will follow the visitation in Lamar Cemetery.

Born on November 21, 1972 in Florence, he is the son of Brenda Watford Morris and the late Jerry O'Neil Morris. Chris worked as a supervisor for McCall Farms and then for Honda Trading in Timmonsville. A die-hard Carolina Gamecock fan, he loved watching football and NASCAR racing.

In addition to his mother of Florence, he is survived by his children Christopher "Chris" O. Morris , Courtney Morris, siblings: Connie (Tony) Nettles, Crystal (Larry) Hyman and Jerry (Angel) Morris.

He was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Angel Morris Trail.
