Charlie Wayne Woodham

Charlie "Wayne" Woodham, age 76, passed away at his home on Friday, February 16, 2024. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home at 3:00 pm on Monday, February 19, 2024 with burial following in Philadelphia Southern Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Born in Hartsville on June 12, 1947, he was the son of the late Leslie English Woodham and the late Mary Pansy Watts Woodham Hatfield. Wayne started his working life as a truck driver for Thurston and later for Southeaster Freight Lines, before starting C&W Body Shop and Auto Sales, which he and his wife Connie ran for years. Mr. Woodham will be remembered for his gentle nature and "good ole boy who would give you the shirt off his back".

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Connie O'Neal Woodham, and his sister, Mary Carolyn Childress, sister-in-law, Margurite Woodham, his faithful canine companion, Max; and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Dale Uggiano, Ara Newman and Gregory Woodham.
