Charlie F. Wallace

Charlie F. Wallace, age 80, died Saturday July 14 2018 at McLeod Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home with burial following in Black Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 3-4 p.m. at the funeral home. Charlie was born in Darlington County, son of the late Grady and Bessie Watford Wallace. He served with the National Guard and was owner/operator of Wallace Towing, being truly dedicated in helping people through his towing business. He loved his granddaughter and great granddaughter. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Lenara Boseman Wallace; his daughter, Frankie (Lonnie, Jr.) Garris of Darlington; granddaughter, Sabrina Dees; great granddaughter, Bristol Locklear; his special children: Lynda Dove, Katelyn Odom and Little Joe Odom; brothers, Sammy (Barbara) Wallace of Darlington and Johnny (Linda) Wallace of Hartsville and sister, Myrtle Brewer of Darlington. Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by a half brother, Jimmy Wallace.
