Charles Howard Weatherford

Charles Howard Weatherford, age 70, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024. A visitation will be held in Belk Funeral Home from the times of 2:00pm until 3:00pm on Sunday, October 27th. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 3:00pm, with burial immediately following the service in Darlington Memory Gardens.

Charles was born in Florence on July 11, 1954 to the late Howard L. Weatherford and Virginia Grady Weatherford. Mr. Weatherford worked for Suburban Propane before later working with Gardner Marsh Gas Equipment Inc for 35 years until his retirement. Charles was an avid Clemson Tigers fan and always enjoyed keeping up with the games, he also always enjoyed reading and fishing. Most recently in Charles' life, he was granted Life Member of St. Davids Masonic Lodge #72.

Surviving Charles are his children, Angela "Angel" Marie Bonner of Rock Hill and Helen "Niki" Nicole Weatherford of Clover, grandson, Josh Snipes, siblings, Debbie (Marshall) Gandy of Darlington and Larry (Marilyn) Weatherford of Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a life long friend, Chesley Benjamin.

In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Gregory.
