Charles "Chuck" Edward Kelly

Charles "Chuck" Edward Kelly III, age 46, died Sunday, January 17, 2016 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 on Thursday, January 21st at Cornerstone Baptist Church with burial following in Grove Hill Cemetery, directed by Belk Funeral Home. Born in Darlington on June 15, 1969, he is the son of Judith Lewis Kelly and the late Charles Edward Kelly, Jr. Chuck graduated from Florence Christian School in 1987 and then from Francis Marion College. He worked as an Administrator for McLeod Family Medicine, and then worked in various administrative positions for McLeod Health for twenty years. He loved to travel, especially to the beach and to Disney World. Chuck had and an extensive Hard Rock Café pin collection, and was always adding pieces. Chuck liked to entertain family and friends, and had a passion for cooking for them. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Dawn McMillen-Kelly, and their son, Spencer William Kelly. He was preceded in death by his father and maternal and paternal grandparents. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Wednesday evening at Belk Funeral and other times at the home, 2712 Cunningham Court.
