Carol Taylor Padgett

Carol Taylor Padgett, age 86, passed away Friday, July 03, 2020. Funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5th in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Grove Hill Cemetery.

Born December 23, 1933, Carol was the daughter of the late A.Z. Taylor and Elizabeth Yarboro Taylor. She retired from Dixie Cup, enjoyed collecting antique Dolls, and was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her son, Joey (Angela) Padgett; grandchildren, Mickey (Stephanie) Blackman, Michelle (Stephen) Andrews, Ginger Blackman, Sherry (Marc) Heiden, Jeffery (Dana) Blackman, Jamie (Bonnie) Weatherford, David Weatherford, Beth Weatherford, Jody (Paige) Padgett, Jennifer (Jacob) Haithcock, and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.O. Padgett; daughters, Susan Blackman, Deborah Weatherford, Lori Ann Ray, and brother, Jerry Taylor.
