IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brenda Annette
Harrison
January 1, 1947 – December 9, 2025
Brenda Annette McCaskill Harrison, 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
A visitation will be held Saturday, December 13, from 1:00–2:00 p.m. at Belk Funeral Home in Darlington. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Belk Funeral Home Chapel, with interment immediately afterward at Grove Hill Cemetery.
Born in Florence, South Carolina on January 1, 1947, Brenda was the daughter of Ernest Clayton McCaskill and Annie Davis Joye. Her life changed when she met and married the love of her life, Tommy Harrison. Together, they built both a family and a livelihood—She worked along side her husband Tommy and family at Darlington Music Company then she and Tommy opened Darlington Amusement until they retired.
Brenda was happiest when she was active and surrounded by the people and places she loved. She enjoyed tending flowers in her yard, spending time with her grandchildren, and making trips to Wal-Mart and Sam’s. She cherished every opportunity to visit the beach—a love so deep that Tommy affectionately called her his “Beach Angel.”
Brenda leaves behind her daughters, Julie (Scott) Ridgeway and Tammy (Rodney) Morris; her grandchildren, Taylor Ridgeway, Griffin Ridgeway, Austin Morris, Savanna Morris, and Roddi Morris; and her great-grandchild, Stassi Morris. She is also survived by her sister, Jean (Ray) Larymore; and her brother, James (Janet) McCaskill.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tommy Harrison; her father, Ernest Clayton McCaskill; her mother, Annie Davis Joye; and her stepfather, Jack Joye.
Brenda will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her strong work ethic, her love for the outdoors, and the gentle, joyful spirit that touched the lives of all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in her honor to: Turning Point USA at: www.tpusa.com or Hartsville Church of God (Attn: Youth Ministry) at 704 Lakeview Blvd., Hartsville, SC 29550 or online at: www.hartsvillecog.com
