Bonnie Clare Dana

Bonnie Clare Dana, age 79 passed away peacefully Saturday, January 29, 2022. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 3rd at Grove Hill Cemetery, directed by Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.

Born November 13, 1942, Bonnie Clare was the daughter of the late Richard Dana and Madge Dawkins Dana. Bonnie Clare loved life, her family and triplet nephews. She also had a deep love for the many friends she made and lived with at special care facilities in Illinois, Virginia and South Carolina.

She is survived by her nephew R. Brenton Dana, his wife Crandall, great-niece, Mary Nance Dana; sister-in-law, Paula Dana, as well as several cousins and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her brother, J. Dwight Dana.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Saleeby Center of Hartsville, SC, St. Matthew's Church of Darlington, SC and the Darlington County Humane Society.
