Bobby Derwood Stevens

Lamar - Bobby D. Stevens, age 69, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 in Columbia, SC. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 22nd in the Lamar chapel at Belk Funeral Home, with burial following in Lamar Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Born December 27, 1948, Bobby is the son of the late David E. Stevens and Beatrice W. Stevens. He worked as a journeyman pipefitter with Atlantic Group. He loved the USC Gamecocks and Lamar football. Bobby was a member of Lexington Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Kathleen "Kathy" Reyes Stevens; his son, Collin Stevens; his daughter, Melissa Stevens, both of Lexington; his granddaughter, Vivian Kathrine Stevens; his siblings, Willis Stevens, Junior Bell, both of Lamar, Marshall (Anne) Stevens, Marcene (Charles) Lane of Florence, and Darlene (Paul) Lawrence of Douglasville, GA. Bobby was preceded in death by his brothers, Heyward Stevens, E.C. Stevens, and Johnny Stevens.
