Bobbie Oliver Miller, 88, of Darlington, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024, at McLeod Hospice House. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Belk Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Friday, December 6th at Hopewell Baptist Church in Chesterfield, followed by a funeral service and burial at the church cemetery.
Bobbie was born in Chesterfield on December 27, 1935, to the late James W. Buckles, Jr. and Gwennie Lucy Oliver Buckles. She dedicated many years of her life to serving others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Bobbie had a deep love for gospel music, as well as bluegrass and country, and you could often find her listening to these genres. She was known for her fondness of photographs —always eager to enjoy the special moments they captured. She enjoyed Hallmark movies, reading, and birdwatching the hummingbirds and cardinals that visited the feeders on her front porch. She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving Bobbie are her two children, Sabrina (Herb) Capell and Charles Edward "Eddie" (Debra) Sellers; her grandchildren, Bert Capell (Crystal) and Holly Sellers (Tyler Wright); and great-grandchildren, Christian Capell and Kayla Capell. She is also survived by her special friend, Betty Warr.
In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Sellers, Sr. and her third husband, Morris Miller.
