Bobbie Jean (Gandy) Robinson

Bobbie Jean Robinson, 77, of Darlington, South Carolina, left us peacefully on February 10, 2025, surrounded by family. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Bobbie, will always be remembered for her kindness, understanding, and absolute devotion to her family. Born on February 8, 1948, Bobbie grew up the youngest child of John and Mattie Gandy and sister to one brother: William and four sisters: Chessie May, Francis, Joyce, and Virginia. In her free time, Bobbie enjoyed watching her favorite television programs and visiting with family. She was always quick to joke and her humor and laugh will forever be remembered. Bobbie could light up a room or a simple phone call with just her kind words and sage advice. Her resiliency in the face of adversity and her generosity are the traits that defined her life and the legacy that she leaves. She has had an indelible impact on all of those that she cared for. Bobbie is survived by her son, Alan Robinson, and grandsons, Jeff Robinson and Michael Robinson, as well as her "child in Christ", Jerri Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, brother, and her husband, Edward. The service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, a charity close to Bobbie's heart.  The family appreciates all of the prayers and support during this time, but request privacy as they grieve as a family.
