Billy Plowden

William Russell "Little Billy" McKay Plowden, age 48, passed away at his home on Monday, December 13, 2021. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 on Monday, December 20 at Belk Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will follow at 7:00 in the chapel of the funeral home.

Born in Darlington on June 14, 1973, he is the son of William "Billy" Wiley Plowden and Sandra Young Plowden.  Billy worked in the landscaping business alongside his father for over twenty years and was known to be a hard worker. When he wasn't working, he always enjoyed going on "adventures" with Kayla and Brice. Billy also enjoyed hunting and was a talented artist.

In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by his two children: Kayla Plowden and Brice Plowden, a special aunt, Kathy "KaKa" Plowden. He is also survived by his canine companion, who he loved dearly, Bonny.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marjorie "WaWa" Plowden and his grandfather, Alton Young.
