Betty Faye Jones Stokes, age 51, died suddenly on Thursday, June 1, 2017. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, June 3rd in the Lamar chapel at Belk Funeral Home. A graveside service with military honors provided by the Veteran's Honor Guard will be held 10:00 AM Monday at Florence National Cemetery.
Born October 29, 1965, Betty is the daughter of Barbara Jones Watford. She served her country in the U.S. Navy. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her mother, Barbara Jones (Johnny) Watford, Betty is survived by her husband, William Robert Stokes; two daughters, Autumn (James) Forthman of Lamar, Harley Stokes (Adam Moye) of Manning; two grandchildren, Bryson Forthman and Kinsley Moye; and her sister, Monica Marks (Jay Hood) of Florence.
