Betty Samuel Jackson

Betty was granted her angel wings on February 26, 2023. A memorial service will take place on March 9th at Belk Funeral at 1:30 p.m. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Betty had touched throughout her life.  Betty Jackson, 74 of Darlington, SC passed away after an aggressive battle with ALS.

Betty was born on APRIL 8, 1949 and did further study at Payne College Augusta, GA. Her career path included an assistant teacher with the Darlington County School District and a Pharmacy Technician with Darlington Pharmacy of Darlington, SC.

Because of her love for reading Betty was never seen without a book or Kindle.  Though tiny in size Betty was a wonderful person, full of life and loving.  She gave us all courage and hope and reminded us all of the preciousness of life.

Betty is survived by her daughter Denva & Husband Joe, Sister, Sheila and brother Edward & wife Tasha.

She will be remembered fondly by her family and her friends.
