Betty Andrews Baker

Betty Ann Andrews Baker, age 85, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 26th in Grove Hill Cemetery, directed by Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Born January 31, 1932 in Darlington County, Betty was the daughter of the late John W. Sr. and Earline Young Andrews. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Melessia Baker of Kannapolis, NC, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Elzie Wylie "Buck" Baker, NASCAR Champion and Hall of Fame Member, and Tommy Skinner, Sr.; her daughter, Tina Baker; two sisters, Mildred Oates and Doris Folsom; her brothers, John Andrews, Jr. and Jimmy Andrews. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of McLeod Hospice of Florence, SC and Cabarrus Hospice of Kannapolis, NC.
