Belinda Hancock Mangone

Belinda Hancock Mangone, born on August 13, 1955, in Darlington County, South Carolina, peacefully passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 70 due to natural causes. Belinda's life was a testament to love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and community.

She spent her career in communication at WBTW, where her passion for marketing and connection with people flourished. A proud resident of Darlington, she touched many lives through both her professional and personal endeavors. She leaves behind two devoted daughters, Samantha (Glen) Weeks and Donyell Watson, who carry forward her legacy of strength and compassion. Her spirit will also live on through her granddaughters, Ashlea (Nick) Dendy and Sara (Andrew)Winburn, as well as her great-grandchild, Zander Dendy, her many nieces and nephews, along with her beloved Shihtzu"Ozzy".  Belinda was preceded in death by her parents: Otis Hancock, Corinne Hancock, sister Eleanor Basily, and brother Larry Hancock.

A time for reflection and remembrance will take place on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Family and friends are invited to visit Belk Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, where they can share memories and celebrate Belinda's extraordinary life. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, honoring a woman whose heart and spirit enriched the lives of those who knew her.  Burial will immediately follow at Darlington Memory Gardens at 3:00 PM.
