Barbara "Bobbie" Floyd Watkins, age 82, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024. A visitation will be held in Belk Funeral Home on Thursday, May 30, from the times of 2:00pm until 3:00pm. A funeral service will follow the visitation in the chapel at 3:00pm, with interment following in the Watkins Family Cemetery (512 Pettit Street in Darlington).
Bobbie was born in Darlington County on October 10, 1941, she is the daughter of the late Ernest Floyd and Beulah Jordan Floyd. Mrs. Watkins worked at Nytronics for many years. She enjoyed relaxing and watching Gun Smoke in her free time. Mrs. Watkins loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Church of God of Prophecy.
She is survived by her children, Myra (Richard "Cuz") Anderson, Judy (Ricky) Locklair, Randall Watkins, Ashley (James) Smith, grandchildren, Melissa (Lindsey) Wiggins, Nikki (Cody) Kelley, Ricky (Nikki Anderson) Locklair, Jr., April (Kyzer Bonnoitt) Watkins, Wayne Burkett, great-grandchildren, Kiley Wiggins, Madison Locklair, Bentley Locklair, Caylen Smith, Kendall Smith, Bailey Smith, Remington Locklair, Hannah Locklair, Emma Kelley, Katelyn Culpepper, Jessa, Jaxson and Jozie, great-great grandchildren, Livia,Maeley and Christian. She is also survived by her sister, Brenda (Larry) McCutcheon.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Tom G. Watkins, granddaughter, Christy Anderson, a daughter-in-law, Marie Watkins, her sisters, Patricia Weatherford, Sylvia floyd, Carolyn Lee, Debbie Williamson, and her brother Eugene Floyd and infant brother, Ernest Walter Floyd
