Annie Ruth Hopkins Driggers, age 75, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018. Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Monday, January 30th in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home, with burial following in Grove Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Born February 17, 1942, Ruth is the daughter of the late Laurence Hopkins and Martha Gainey Hopkins Tucker. She worked for Nytronics, and was of the baptist faith. Surviving are her daughter, Rhonda (Glenn) Stone of Columbia; her siblings, Jr (Sharron) Hopkins, David (Margaret) Hopkins, Wayne Tucker, Mae (Danny) Horne, Nancy Rhodes, Virginia Hopkins, Robin (Joey) Alexander, and lots of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Hopkins.
