Annie M. Davis Joye Lamar - Annie M. Davis Joye, age 90 passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016. Funeral services will be held 4:00pm Monday, May 2nd in the Lamar chapel at Belk Funeral Home with burial following at Lamar Cemetery. Born May 3, 1925, Annie is the daughter of the late Cleveland and Alma Melton Davis. She worked for Marlow Manufacturing in Lamar and was a faithful member of Lamar United Methodist Church the Fellowship Sunday School class. Surviving are her daughters, Brenda (Tommy) Harrison and Jean (Ray) Larymore, both of Darlington; her son, James (Janet) McCaskill of Indiana; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; two half-sisters, Marlene Cooke of Darlington, Margie Nell Hill of Florence, and her brother, Marshall Cleve (Linda) Davis of Darlington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Joye. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Monday at Belk Funeral Home Lamar chapel. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of McLeod Hospice for their care for Mrs. Joye.
