Anna “Renee” Smith passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Christian Pathway Church, directed by Belk Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Renee was born on February 19, 1967, in Timmonsville, SC, to the late Marion “Russell” Galloway and Anna Atkinson O’Neal. She was a lover of music and especially enjoyed playing the piano. Creative and expressive, she loved to paint and found joy in tending to flowers and being surrounded by nature.

Renee is survived by her son, Rusty Machon; her mother, Anna O’Neal, and stepfather, Billy O’Neal; and her brother, Randy (Anne) Galloway. She also leaves behind her beloved fur babies—Bud, Ozzy, Tinkerbell, and Skyler—who brought her endless comfort and companionship.
