Amy Ann Chaplin Cowick, age 23, died Monday, May 13, 2019. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, May 17th in the chapel at Belk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Friday at the funeral home, and other times at the home, 2681 Indian Branch Rd. Hartsville. Amy was born on February 20, 1996 in Florence, South Carolina. She is the daughter of Arthur "Ricky" Freeman Chaplin Jr. and Paula O'Neal Chaplin. She will be remembered as a "unique", outgoing individual who loved her family very much. In addition to her parents, Arthur "Ricky" Chaplin Jr. and Paula O'Neal Chaplin of Darlington, she is survived by her children, Ayden, Ansley, and Noah Cowick; her twin sister, Amber Chaplin (Michael) of Columbia; her half-sister, Nicole Holland; niece, McKenzie Holland, both of Summerville; her aunts and uncles, Frank (Teresa) Chaplin, Johnny (Gloria) Howle, Timothy (Janet) O'Neal, and close family friends, Sandra (David) Cortes, Kim (Bill) Medley, and Megan Holloway. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Cowick; paternal grandparents, Margaret Ann and Mickey Chaplin; her maternal grandparents, Judith Suggs and William O'Neal.
