Amani Kambrei' Windham

Miss Amani Kambrei' Windham, age 12, of Lamar, SC, was taken from this world far too soon on May 29th, 2025.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th, 2025, at Belk Funeral Home in Lamar from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service celebrating her life will take place on Friday, June 6th, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Spaulding Middle School gymnasium, located at 400 Cartersville Hwy, Lamar. Burial will follow at Lamar Memorial Cemetery.  ***Everyone is encouraged to wear pink or Hello Kitty, in her honor while in attendance**

Amani was born on October 5th, 2012, in Florence, SC, to Danielle and Rodney Windham of Lamar. She was a bright, loving young girl who had just made the cheer team at Spaulding Middle School. Amani approached life with joy and enthusiasm. She loved dancing, playing in the school band where she played the flute, and spending time with her family. One of her favorite places to be was the library, where she enjoyed hanging out with her friends. She also cherished trips to the lake and family vacations, especially the moments she spent laughing and playing with her niece and nephews. She also shared a special bond with her "fake parents," Brittany and Harry, who brought extra joy and laughter into her life.

She is survived by her parents, Danielle and Rodney Windham; her siblings, Brittany (Harry) Coaxum, Amia Windham, Braxton (Heather) Windham, L.J. Mack, and Laylah Mack; her grandmother, Kathy Windham; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Blayden Windham, Oaklynn Windham, and Elias Mylo Windham.

Amani was known for her sweet spirit, big heart, and deep love for animals, she will be missed dearly by her cherished pets: Speedy the turtle, Shadow the cat, and Anderdingus the bearded dragon.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ted "Peter" Windham, and maternal grandmother, Sherry Watford.

Though her time with us was brief, Amani's vibrant spirit, kind heart, and beautiful smile left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. She will always be remembered and missed beyond words.
